M+M fully respects the privacy rights of visitors to their website. The following text serves to inform the user of the manner in which their data shall be used.

4.1. Collection, Processing, and Disclosure of Personal Data

4.1.1. The collection, storage, processing and transfer of personal data shall only take place to the extent necessary in respect of the business relationship with you and in compliance with legal regulations.

4.1.2. The user may visit the M+M web pages without disclosing any personal information. M+M merely stores non-personal access data, such as number of hits on a specific page. This data is only evaluated to improve the M+M offering and allows no monitoring of the user.

4.1.3. Personal data is only collected by M+M if the user voluntarily imparts this information to M+M as part of the registration for an event held by M+M, a message (e.g. request for an offer) or when registering for the M+M newsletter.

4.1.4. When registering for the newsletter, the e-mail address and if necessary the name of the user (if the user’s name is specified) is only used for own marketing purposes, until the user unsubscribes from the newsletter. The user may unsubscribe at any time. The same applies if the user registers as a follower via Twitter to receive M+M Twitter messages.

4.1.5. M+M shall not forward the user’s e-mail address to third parties. A transfer of customer data to third parties shall only take place to the extent required for order processing (e.g. for shipment) or the shipment of advertising materials by postal delivery.

4.1.6. M+M frequently sends the latest information on its products or special offers by e-mail, if the user has stated their approval when entering their e-mail address. 4.2. Facebook Button

4.2.1. On its website, M+M makes use of plugins by the social network (, Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA (hereafter “Facebook”). 4.2.2. Once the user clicks the button the Facebook plug-in establishes a direct connection between the user’s browser and the Facebook servers. M+M has no influence on the data transmitted during this process nor does it receive any knowledge of this data, as the transmission does not take place via the M+M website, but directly between the user’s computer and Facebook. The information that the user had been on the M+M website as well as the user’s IP address is transferred. If the user is signed into Facebook at the same time, this information will be allocated to the user’s Facebook account and a connection between this information and the user will be made. The same applies if the user presses the button and enters a comment. If the user is a member of Facebook and would not like Facebook to register his visit to the M+M web pages and allocate this information to their Facebook user data or account, the user must log out of Facebook prior to this.
